What we offer
Project Based Learning Programmes
Our 6-week project-based learning experiences run one day a week and are designed for home-educated children. Projects blend subjects such as STEM, history, geography, and the arts, encouraging hands-on learning, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking while tackling real-world challenges.
Maths Boosters and Book Clubs
Small-group Maths Explorer sessions help KS2 learners build confidence and secure key maths skills for success in an engaging way. Our KS2 and KS3 Book Clubs run for 6 weeks, following a new book each term, where children develop key analysis skills, discuss themes and explore literary techniques.
Private 1:1 Tutoring Sessions
With over a decade of experience in primary, secondary and online education, Amy offers weekly tutoring sessions tailored to each child’s needs. She provides KS1, KS2, and KS3 English and Maths tuition, 7+ entrance exam prep, and GCSE English Literature & Language tutoring across various exam boards.
Project Based Learning Programmes
Forget worksheets and rote memorisation—real learning happens when children are actively engaged in solving problems, thinking creatively, and making discoveries for themselves. Our 6-week project-based learning courses are designed to ignite curiosity and develop key skills for the future while covering essential academic content. Some of our projects align with national curriculum objectives, while others delve into broader interests and passions. Whatever your child’s learning style, there's something to spark their curiosity and enthusiasm!
How does it work?
Our one-day-a-week programme (9:30am – 3:30pm) is carefully structured to give children an immersive experience where they think critically, collaborate, and create real-world solutions. Here’s how a typical day is structured:
9:30 – 10:30 | Skills Workshop
We begin by introducing the key skills and main learning for the day through short activities and group discussions. It’s a chance for learners to build confidence and understanding before heading into their own project work.
10:30 – 11:30 | Independent Project Time
Students are set a task to complete independently, giving them space to apply what they’ve learned and explore their own ideas in more depth.
11:30 – 12:00 | Development Session
We come back together to reflect on what they’ve done so far. I’ll offer feedback and either extend the task or introduce something new to build on their progress.
12:00 – 2:00 | Independent Project Time
Another stretch of independent time where your child will work on the next task set. I’ll be available throughout via our chat function for help and support whenever they need it.
2:00 – 2:30 | Final Development Session
We regroup to share progress and wrap up the day. I’ll introduce a follow-up task to complete ahead of next week’s session.
2:30 – 3:30 | Independent Project Time
This final session allows time to complete any unfinished work or make revisions based on feedback. If the student is finished, they’re welcome to get started on the following week’s task.
Throughout all independent work periods, I’ll be just a message away via our chat tool—ready to offer support, answer questions, or provide encouragement.
Each student has a digital notebook that stores all their project work, accessible to both teacher and learner. At the end of the six weeks, this is sent to parents as a keepsake and a record of their child’s learning.
This is learning that sticks! By the end of the 6 weeks, children will have not just gained knowledge but also produced something they can be proud of.
What do our projects look like?
Take a look at what one of our learners achieved in our recent 'Eco Architects' project! From researching sustainable materials to creating full architectural designs for an eco-friendly home, this project helped apply skills in maths, science, design, and critical thinking—all while having fun!

Book Clubs – Bringing Stories to Life!
Reading isn’t just about turning pages—it’s about exploring new worlds, sharing ideas, and thinking critically. In our KS2 and KS3 book clubs, children follow a new book every 6 weeks, engaging in rich discussions, analysing themes, and developing key inference skills. Each session brings the story to life through activities that make reading an interactive experience.

Maths doesn’t have to feel daunting! Our Upper KS2 maths booster sessions are designed to strengthen key concepts, boost confidence, and make problem-solving fun. With clear explanations, interactive activities, and personalised support, children gain the skills they need to tackle maths with confidence.
